China eager to work with Bangladesh’s new Govt: Fakhrul
BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir has said that China is eagerly waiting to work with Bangladesh’s new government.
He made the remarks on Tuesday (June 24) following a meeting between a BNP delegation and Chinese Vice Foreign Minister Sun Weidong in Beijing.
Fakhrul said China expressed its hope for a free and fair election in Bangladesh and conveyed a strong interest in cooperating with the next government.
The BNP Secretary General added that the delegation urged China to continue its support in sectors such as agriculture, industry, garments, healthcare, and infrastructure. They also called for measures to address trade imbalances and sought assistance in modern technology and skills development.
