NCP announces 30-day march programme

The National Citizen Party (NCP) has announced a 30-day programme titled ‘Desh Gortey July Padyatra’ (July March to Build the Nation), to be observed nationwide from July 1 to July 30.
The announcement was made by the party’s convener, Md Nahid Islam, at a press conference held at the party’s temporary office in Banglamotor, Dhaka, at 11:00 am on Sunday (June 29), marking the anniversary of the July uprising.
He said the programme will be observed in all 64 districts of the country, beginning with a visit to the grave of Shaheed Abu Sayeed.
