‘Boat’ symbol removed from EC’s website

The ‘boat’ symbol of the Bangladesh Awami League, whose registration was suspended on May 12, has been removed from the Election Commission (EC) website.
The EC’s website no longer displayed the ‘boat’ symbol next to the name of the Awami League (registration suspended) on Wednesday morning.
Earlier, on Tuesday night (July 15), Local Government Affairs Adviser Asif Mahmud Shojib Bhuyain criticised the EC in a Facebook post, questioning, “On what grounds did you send the cursed ‘boat’ symbol to the Ministry of Law for rescheduling?”
