Tarique to return home by Nov, expects Salahuddin

BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman will return home within Novement, party Standing Committee Member Salahuddin Ahmed expected on Friday, October 24.

He said this while talking to the reporters at his residence in Dhaka's Gulshan this afternoon.

When the journalists asked him about a specific date of Tarique's coming home, he said, "You will soon know a specific date. I expect he (Tarique Rahman) will return by November."

When asked which constituencies Tarique would contest from, Salahuddin replied that he must take part in the next general election and he had also said this in a recent interview.

However, which seats the BNP acting chairman will compete from, it would be fixed later, he added.

About the participation of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia in the elections, Salahuddin said, "We hope she herself will decide whether she takes party in the polls considering her physical condition."
