Remove campaign materials within 48hrs, Jamaat urges party men

Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr Shafiqur Rahman has called on all leaders and activists across the country to remove various election campaign materials, including banners, posters and festoons, on their own within 48 hours.

He made the call in a post on his verified Facebook page on Friday (12 December).

In the post, he said, “Yesterday (Thursday), the schedule for the 13th national parliamentary elections was announced. Welcome. We are prepared to extend all logical cooperation to make the announced elections fair and successful.”

He further said, “As per the announced RPO, I urge all responsible leaders and activists at every level across the country to remove all types of campaign materials on their own within 48 hours.”
