Air ambulance carrying Hadi leaves Dhaka for Singapore

An air ambulance carrying Sharif Osman Hadi, spokesperson of Inqilab Moncho and a potential independent candidate for the Dhaka-8 constituency, left Dhaka for Singapore on Monday.

Hadi was transferred to the air ambulance at 1:40 pm, which departed for Singapore at 1:50 pm. Earlier, at 1:10 pm, an ambulance carrying him left Evercare Hospital for Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. The air ambulance had arrived at the airport at 11:22 am to receive him.

The decision to send Hadi to Singapore for advanced treatment was made on Sunday (December 14) during an emergency conference call, following instructions from Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus. The meeting was attended by Cultural Affairs Adviser Mostofa Sarwar Farooki, Special Assistant to the Chief Adviser on Health Affairs Professor Dr Md Sayedur Rahman, Evercare Hospital specialist Dr Zafar, and Hadi’s brother, Omar bin Hadi.
