Tarique Rahman expresses gratitude to CA in phone call

After more than 17 years in exile in London, United Kingdom, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman returned to Bangladesh on Thursday. Shortly after his arrival, he called Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus while seated at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport and expressed his gratitude to him.

Tarique Rahman later shared a video of the conversation with the Chief Adviser on his verified Facebook page, captioning it, “Expressing gratitude to the Chief Adviser.”

In the video, Tarique Rahman is heard asking the Chief Adviser, “How is your health? … Yes, yes, do keep me in your prayers.”

He then says, “On my behalf and on behalf of my family, I would like to thank you. You have made various arrangements, especially regarding my security. Thank you so much. Certainly… certainly.”

Tarique Rahman ended the call by offering his Salam.
