3-party chiefs to deliver election addresses on BTV today

Ahead of the 13th national parliamentary elections, Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) Chairman Tarique Rahman and Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami Amir Dr Shafiqur Rahman will deliver election addresses to the nation on Monday (February 9). Their speeches will be broadcast on Bangladesh Television (BTV).

According to the broadcast schedule, Dr Shafiqur Rahman’s address will be aired between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm, while Tarique Rahman’s speech will be broadcast from 7:00 pm to 8:00 pm on BTV.

In addition, Bangladesh Khelafat Majlis Amir Maulana Mamunul Haque is also scheduled to deliver a televised address to the nation this evening between 6:00 pm and 7:00 pm.

Earlier, on Sunday (February 8), BTV aired addresses by NCP Convener Nahid Islam and Islami Andolan Bangladesh Amir Mufti Syed Muhammad Rezaul Karim, popularly known as the Charmonai Pir. Rezaul Karim’s address was broadcast at 6:00 pm, followed by Nahid Islam’s speech at 7:00 pm.
