Thakurgaon Jamaat amir detained with around Tk 50 lakh

Police have detained Belal Uddin, the amir of the Thakurgaon district unit of Jamaat-e-Islami, along with around Tk 50 lakh.
He was detained from Saidpur Airport in Nilphamari on Wednesday (February 11) around 12:00 pm.
The Superintendent of Police of Nilphamari confirmed the incident to Jago News.
Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nazmul Alam of Saidpur Police Station said Belal Uddin was detained with around Tk 50 lakh, and the counting of the money is still ongoing. Belal Uddin reportedly told the police that the money came from his business.
