Abbas alleges election conspiracies in Dhaka-8

BNP Standing Committee Member and the party’s candidate for Dhaka-8, Mirza Abbas, has claimed that multiple conspiracies are targeting his election.

Speaking to party leaders and activists in Shahjanpur at midnight past Thursday, February 12, he said, “There are many conspiracies against my election and against the hard work of our leaders and activists. Stay alert. If these conspirators do not stop, we may have to take to the streets. We will not give in.”

He added, “If Allah gives us the opportunity, we will celebrate, but not in a way that causes difficulties for the people. It should be remembered that the conspiracies are not yet over.”
