BNP leader Selima Rahman hospitalised
Selima Rahman, a member of the Standing Committee of the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) and a former minister, has been hospitalised after suffering a cardiac complication.
BNP media cell member Shairul Kabir Khan confirmed the matter on Sunday, February 22.
Party sources said that she fell ill suddenly at around 10:00 pm on Thursday, February 19, and was taken to United Hospital in Dhaka. She is currently receiving treatment at the hospital’s Coronary Care Unit (CCU), where her condition is being closely monitored.
Family members and party colleagues have urged supporters and well-wishers to pray for her quickest recovery.
