Mahmudullah Riyad hospitalised

Former Bangladesh national cricket team captain Mahmudullah Riyad has been admitted to a hospital after falling ill. A reliable source confirmed to Jago News that he is suffering from dengue fever.

His wife, Jannatul Kawser Mishti, on Thursday, requested prayers for his recovery on social media. At 11:14 am, she posted a picture on her Facebook account showing Mahmudullah lying on a hospital bed.

In the post, she wrote, “When Allah loves someone, He tests them with hardships and difficulties. Alhamdulillah for everything. Allah is so kind... Keep him in your prayers.” Her post did not specifically mention the nature of his illness.
