Craving Biryani? This app shows which mosque has it for iftar

In the smartphone era, various apps are making daily tasks easier. From social media updates to real-time traffic information, almost everything is now accessible through mobile applications. This Ramadan, even information about which mosque is serving biryani or tehari at iftar can be found through an app.

An app called ‘Biryani Dibe’ has recently gone viral on social media. The app provides real-time updates showing which mosques are serving biryani, allowing users to check in advance where food will be distributed.

The fun and innovative app was developed by Abdullah Al Jubayer Prince, a university student studying Computer Science and Engineering at the International University of Business Agriculture and Technology (IUBAT) in the capital.

Although people enjoy biryani and tehari throughout the year at home or in restaurants, there is a special excitement surrounding the biriyani served at mosques during iftar in Ramadan. Every year, social media is filled with humorous posts and memes about it.

Inspired by this cultural trend, Abdullah Al Jubayer Prince created the app, which has now taken social media by storm, generating a wave of humorous reactions and comments. The website and app allow users to add live locations, enabling anyone to find opportunities to join iftar meals, while others can also see which mosque is serving biryani on a given day.
