Meghna Bank felicitates Uzma on being Finance Director of the Year

Meghna Bank PLC has honoured its Chairperson, Uzma Chowdhury – who also serves as Director (Finance) at the PRAN-RFL Group – for receiving the prestigious Bangladesh C-Suite Award in the category of “Chief Finance Officer (CFO)/Finance Director of the Year 2025.”

The felicitation took place at a special event attended by the bank’s Board of Directors, Managing Director & CEO (CC), Deputy Managing Director, and other senior officials.

In a statement, the bank said the award recognises her outstanding contributions to financial governance, strategic financial planning, and the strengthening of robust financial frameworks within Bangladesh’s corporate sector. “Her leadership has played a pivotal role in driving fiscal discipline, transparency, and sustainable growth across the organisations she serves,” the statement added.

In related news, Meghna Bank also extended its congratulations to its Vice Chairman, Tanveer Ahmed, on the establishment of the Honorary Consulate of the Federation of Saint Christopher and Nevis in Bangladesh, where he has been appointed as Honorary Consul – a diplomatic role that highlights his expanding international engagement.
