Remittances hit $2.30b in 21 days of February
The expatriate Bangladeshis sent around $2.30 billion in remittances or approximately $230.80 crore, in the first 21 days of February of the current fiscal year 2025-26.
The amount is $39.50 crore or 20.06 per cent higher than the same period in the last FY, when the country received $191.30 crore in remittances, according to updated data from Bangladesh Bank.
Accordingly, roughly $10.99 crore remittances came home on average every day in February.
The expatriates sent $2,174.10 crore from July to February 21 in the current FY.
