Remittance inflow crosses $30b in FY25

The expatriate Bangladeshis sent around $2.82 billion in remittances in June, taking Bangladesh’s total remittance earnings to record $30.33 billion (about Tk 3,70,00,000 crore) in fiscal year 2024-25.
This is the highest remittance earnings so far in a single fiscal year and around 26.8 per cent more than that of last FY when about $23.91 billion came.
In June, the country received about Tk 1,147 crore on average every day, according to the latest data of Bangladesh Bank on Tuesday, July 1.
