46th BCS written exam results published, 4,042 pass

The Public Service Commission (PSC) has published the results of the 46th BCS written examination, with a total of 4,042 candidates passing. The results were released around 9 pm on Thursday, November 27.

The notification, signed by PSC Examination Controller (Cadre) Masuma Afreen, was confirmed by Public Relations Officer SM Matiur Rahman.

According to an analysis of the results:

2,336 candidates passed in the General Cadre

738 candidates in the Technical/Professional Cadre

968 candidates in both general and technical/professional cadres

The PSC notification also states that the commission reserves the right to correct the results if legally necessary.

Candidates can check their results on the PSC website or Teletalk website. Results can also be accessed via SMS by sending 46<Registration Number> to 16222, with results delivered in a return SMS.

The PSC has indicated that the oral examination for successful candidates is likely to begin in the last week of December. A detailed schedule will be published on media outlets and the commission’s website in due course.
