Ambidextrous writer Syed Shamsul Haq laid to rest

Ambidextrous writer Syed Shamsul Haq was laid to eternal rest at Kurigram Government College compound on Wednesday.

He was buried around 4:35pm after a fresh namaz-e-janaza held on the college ground in the Sadar upazila.

People from all walks of life including Cultural Affairs Minister Asaduzzaman Noor took part in the janaza and offered prayer seeking the eternal peace of the departed soul.

Earlier, Thousands of people including, members of different social, cultural and political groups paid rich tributes to ambidextrous writer Syed Shamsul Haq at Central Shaheed Minar in Dhaka on Wednesday morning, who passed away at a Dhaka hospital on Tuesday evening.
