Road accidents claim 475 lives in November

As many as 475 people lost their lives and 605 others received injuries in 566 road accidents across the country in November, according to Jatri Kalyan Samity.

Of them, 173 died and 85 were injured in 147 motorcycle accidents, the passengers' welfare platform said in a press release on Tuesday.

Jatri Kalyan Samity also said 23 people were killed in 31 accidents that took place in railways and six accidents in waterways claimed five lives in the country during the last month.
