Child burnt in Bhashan Char cylinder blast dies

A three-year-old child, who suffered burn injuries in a gas cylinder blast at Bhashan Char Rohingya Camp in Noakhali, has died.

Dead Russel is the son of Azizul Haque, a resident of 81 no. cluster of the camp.

Chattogram Medical College Hospital (CMCH) Police Outpost sub-inspector Nurul Alam Asheque confirmed the matter to Jago News around 7:30 pm on Saturday.

He said seven people, who sustained burn injuries in a gas cylinder explosion at Bhashan Char Rohingya Camp, were admitted to CMCH and of them, a child named Ruseel passed away.

Earlier, an explosion occurred after a gas cylinder leaked at 81 no. cluster at Bhashan Char Rohingya Camp in Hatia upazila around 8 am, leaving nine people injured.
