Bailey Road fire: Victims' families to be given Tk 25000 each

Families of the victims of a building fire in Bailey Road area of the capital Dhaka will be given Tk 25,000 each, said State Minister for Disaster Management and Relief Md Mohibbur Rahman.

Besides, the government will bear treatment costs of those who received injuries in the incident, he told the reporters after visiting the spot on Friday morning.

Earlier on Thursday night, a deadly fire broke out in a restaurant named "Kacchi Bhai' at Green Cozy Cottage building in Bailey Road area of the capital, leaving 46 people, so far, dead and many others injured.
