Weather may remain dry over country

Bangladesh Meteorological Department, BMD, on Friday, January 17, predicted weather may remain dry for the next 24 hours over the country.
“Weather may remain dry with partly cloudy sky over the country”, said the forecast begins from 9:00am today.
Ridge of sub-continental high extends up to West Bengal and adjoining area. Seasonal low lies over South Bay, extending its trough to Northeast Bay.
Light to moderate fog may occur at places over the country during late night to morning.
Night temperature may remain nearly unchanged and day temperature may fall slightly over the country.
Country’s maximum temperature on Thursday was recorded 31.4 degree Celsius at Teknaf and minimum temperature today was recorded 11.3 degree Celsius at Srimangal.
The sun sets today at 05:34pm and rises tomorrow at 06:43am in the capital.
