Operation Devil Hunt: 569 more arrested in 24 hours

The police arrest 10 people in Dhaka's Mohammadpur during the ongoing nationwide 'Operation Devil Hunt'.
Some 1,231 individuals were arrested across the country in the last 24 hours on various charges.
Of them, 569 were apprehended during the ongoing nationwide ‘Operation Devil Hunt’, Inamul Haque Sagar, AIG (Media and PR) of the Police Headquarters, told Jago News on Saturday evening, March 1.
On February 8, the government announced the special operation, Operation Devil Hunt, across the country, including Gazipur, aiming to maintain law and order and bring terrorists to justice.
The decision was made during a high-level law enforcement meeting at the Secretariat on the day, following an attack on students and civilians in Gazipur on February 7 night.
