Magura rape victim in critical condition: Army

The life of the child who was raped in Magura is critical. The child suffered cardiac arrest four times in a single day.
This information was shared on the verified Facebook page of the Bangladesh Army on Wednesday night.
The post stated that the child, a victim of abuse in Magura, is currently receiving treatment in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) at the Combined Military Hospital (CMH) in Dhaka. Daily tests are being conducted in accordance with standard ICU protocols, and the child is being provided with the highest level of medical care.
The post further mentioned that the child suffered four cardiac arrests in a single day on Wednesday and was stabilised through PCR. Due to a salt imbalance in the child's blood, dialysis is being performed. In addition to other complications, the child's blood pressure is critically low at 60/40 and continues to decline. A specialised medical team at CMH is making every effort to save the child's life using the latest medical techniques. It was noted that the child was admitted in a critical condition at 6:00 om on March 8.
The Bangladesh Army is requesting the prayers of the nation for the child’s recovery.
