Yunus urges nation to overcome adversities, unite

Chief Adviser Dr Muhammad Yunus has urged the nation to overcome challenges and move forward with unity.

He delivered this message on Monday (March 31) while exchanging Eid greetings after attending the main Eid-ul-Fitr congregation at the National Eidgah.

Despite challenges, the Chief Adviser emphasised the importance of maintaining unity, saying, "Today is the day to foster unbreakable unity, and we want to establish this unity permanently. This is our collective aspiration in the Eid congregation."

He further emphasised, "Eid is a day of togetherness, love, and harmony. Let us celebrate with affection and spread this message to all."

At the beginning of his speech, he extended Eid greetings to expatriate Bangladeshis and conveyed his best wishes to those unable to attend the congregation due to illness or hospitalization.

The central Eid-ul-Fitr congregation took place at the National Eidgah at 8:30 AM. It was attended by Religious Affairs Adviser AFM Khalid Hossain, Energy Adviser Faozul Kabir Khan, justices from the Supreme Court and High Court, the Dhaka South City administrator, politicians, intellectuals, secretaries, diplomats from various Muslim countries, and people from all walks of life.
