3 NBR members, 1 commissioner on forced retirement

The government has sent three members and one commissioner of the National Board of Revenue (NBR) on compulsory retirement.
They are member (tax intelligence and investigation) Md Alamgir Hossain, member (Customs Policy) Hossain Ahmed, member (VAT policy) Dr Md Abdur Rouf, and commissioner of taxes Md Sabbir Ahmed.
Four separate orders were issued in this regard by the Internal Resources Division (IRD) under the Ministry of Finance on Wednesday, July 2.
IRD said they were sent on retirement for the sake of public interest.
