CAAB flight safety chief Habib removed
Group Captain Md Ahsan Habib has been withdrawn from his post as Director of Flight Safety and Regulation at the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB).
According to an office order issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Tuesday, July 22, he has been sent back to the Bangladesh Air Force.
Group Captain Md Monirul Islam has been appointed as his replacement. His service has been placed under the Ministry of Civil Aviation and Tourism.
The move comes amid mourning following Monday’s tragic crash of a fighter jet into Milestone School and College in Dhaka’s Uttara, which claimed many lives.
