7 of a family among 8 die in Natore road accident

Eight people, including seven members of a family, were killed as a truck and a microbus collided head-on in Natore's Baraigram on Wednesday morning, July 23.

The deceased were identified as Jahidul Islam, 55, Selina Khatun, 50, Rawshanara Aktar Ity, 48, Anwara Khatun, 55, Anwara Khatun Anu, 50, Anzuman, 60, and Shima, 35, members of a same family, and the microbus driver, Shahabuddin, 42.

They all were residents of Dharmadaha village under Adabaria union in Daulatpur upazila of Kushtia.

A microbus and a truck collided head-on in Royna Tormuz filing station area around 10:00am, leaving seven passengers and driver of the former vehicle dead.
