Prime Minister Anwar welcomed Professor Yunus and his delegation, introducing them to a gathering of diplomats, senior officials, and invited guests before proceeding to closed-door talks.

The meetings aim to deepen cooperation between the two nations in key areas including trade, investment, education, green technology, and social entrepreneurship.

Professor Yunus, the Nobel Peace Prize-winning economist and founding figure of the microfinance movement, is leading a high-level Bangladeshi delegation. This visit marks a significant step in strengthening diplomatic and economic ties between Malaysia and Bangladesh.
