9 more die with measles, symptoms in 24hrs

Nine more people died with measles and the disease-like symptoms in different parts of the country in the last 24 hours till 8:00 am on Tuesday, April 14, as the disease continued to spread.
Of them, the death of one was from confirmed measles, according to the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS).
In the past 24 hours, 1,105 suspected measles cases were reported, with 176 confirmed cases.
From March 15 to April 14 this year, a total of 18,129 suspected measles cases have been recorded, with 2,897 confirmed cases.
The health directorate said it has been recording measles-related data since March 15.
