Dhaka-M'singh rail link restored after 4 hours

The rail communication between Dhaka and Mymensingh has been restored around four hours after a Mohanganj Express train derailed near Joydebpur Railway Junction in Gazipur city.
Train services resumed on the route around 6:10pm on Friday, October 31, said Md Kayum Ali, sub-inspector (SI) of Joydebpur Railway Junction Police Outpost in Gazipur.
Earlier, a wheel of the Netrakona-bound train's power car bogie veered off the track near Joydebpur Junction at about 2:15pm, leaving the rail link betwen Dhaka and Mymensingh suspended and creating immense suffering to commuters.
