6 die as truck rams CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Noakhali
Six people were killed as a truck rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Noakhali's Kabirhat on Tuesday afternoon, November 4.
The incident occurred on the Kabirhat-Basurhat road in East Fatehpur area around 2:15pm.
Kabirhat Fire Service official Firoz Alam, and the upazila health officer, Dr SK Debnath, confirmed the matter of deaths.
Six people, including three women, were killed as a truck rammed into a CNG-run auto-rickshaw in Noakhali's Kabirhat on Tuesday afternoon, November 4.
Among the deceased, one was identified as Shah Alam Khokan, driver of the auto-rickshaw and hailed from ward no. 9 under Basurhat municipality in Companiganj upazila, Kabirhat police station's officer-in-charge, Md Shahin Mia, told Jago News.
Witnesses said a speeding truck hit a CNG-run auto-rickshaw on the Kabirhat-Basurhat road in East Fatehpur area around 2:15pm, leaving three dead on the spot and three others injured.
Of the injured, one died at Kabirhat Upazila Health Complex, and two others passed away on the way to Noakhali General Hospital.
