4 more die from dengue, 1,101 hospitalised in 24 hrs
Four more deaths were reported from dengue in the last 24 hours, taking the total number of fatalities from the mosquito-borne disease to 292 this year.
Of the new deaths, one was reported in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) and three were recorded in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
During the period, 1,101 more patients were hospitalised with the viral fever, raising the total cases to 73,923 to date this year, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) said in a statement today (November 4).
Of the new cases, 151 were recorded in Barishal division (Out of CC), 125 in Chattogram division (Out of CC), 208 in Dhaka division (Out of CC), 241 in Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC), and 175 in Dhaka South City Corporation (DSCC).
Besides, 49 new cases were recorded in Khulna division (Out of CC), 75 in Mymensingh division (Out of CC), 45 in Rajshahi division (Out of CC), 19 in Rangpur division (Out of CC), and three in Sylhet division (Out of CC).
