Two crude bombs were thrown at ‘Shashya Prabartana,’ the business establishment of Fisheries and Livestock adviser Farida Akhter, located on Sir Syed Road in Mohammadpur, Dhaka. No one was injured in the incident.

The explosions occurred at around 7:10 am on Monday (November 10).

According to police sources, two individuals on a motorcycle threw one crude bomb inside the Prabartana establishment and another onto the road outside. Both bombs exploded with loud blasts.

The caretaker of the establishment and nearby residents were reportedly terrified following the explosions. Law enforcement personnel arrived at the scene after receiving reports of the incident.

Mohammadpur Police Station’s Officer-in-Charge (OC) Kazi Rafiqul Ahmed confirmed the incident to Jago News. He said that the attackers targeted the Prabartana business in a lane in the morning and emphasised that multiple police teams are working at the site.

He also assured that those responsible for the attack would be brought to justice.
