3 magistrates dismissed on final day of basic training

The government has dismissed three assistant commissioners and executive magistrates on the final day of their basic training.

The gazette notification was issued by the Ministry of Public Administration on Wednesday (November 19).

The dismissed officers are Anup Kumar Biswas from Bogura, Nobomita Sarker from Pirojpur, and Kazi Arifur Rahman from Faridpur.

According to the notification, they have been removed from government service under Rule 6(2)(a) of the Bangladesh Civil Service (Recruitment) Rules, 1981. Any financial dues owed to the officers during their tenure will be recovered in accordance with the Public Demand Recovery Act, 1913.

Sources said their basic training was completed on Wednesday (November 19), the same day their dismissal was announced. However, the notification did not specify the reasons for their removal from service.
