Chief Adviser Professor Dr Muhammad Yunus paid glowing tributes to the martyrs of the Armed Forces who made the supreme sacrifice during the 1971 War of Liberation on the occasion of Armed Forces Day.
He laid a wreath at the altar of Shikha Anirban (Flame Eternal) at Dhaka Cantonment on Friday morning and later signed the visitors’ book kept there.
Abul Kalam Azad Majumder, Deputy Press Secretary to the Chief Adviser, confirmed the matter to Jago News.
