First Eid congregation held at Baitul Mukarram
The first congregation of Eid-ul-Fitr prayers was held at the National Mosque, Baitul Mukarram, with due religious solemnity and a festive atmosphere.
The prayer was held at 7:00 am on Saturday (March 21).
Maulana Mizanur Rahman, Senior Pesh Imam of the national mosque, led the first congregation.
Before the prayer, he delivered a sermon (bayan), offering religious guidance to the devotees.
Pesh Imam Mufti Muhibbullahil Baqi Nadvi led the second congregation at 8:00 am, while Islamic Foundation Deputy Director Maulana Md Zakir Hossain led the third at 9:00 am.
Imam Training Academy religious trainer Maulana Zobayer Ahmed Al-Azhari will lead the fourth congregation at 10:00 am, and Islamic Foundation Mufti Maulana Mohammad Abdullah will lead the fifth prayer at 10:45 am.
Maulana Shahidul Islam, Assistant Librarian of the Islamic Foundation, will serve as the alternate imam during the prayers at the mosque.
