2 youths killed after being hit by trains in Kishoreganj

Two young men died after being struck by trains at different places in Bhairab of Kishoreganj district.

The deceased were identified as Aniul Haque, 25, a resident of Daudpur village of Tarail uapzila in the district, and an unidentified youth.

Quoting locals, Bhairab police station officer-in-charge Mohammad Abu Sayeed said that Ainul Haque died after being hit the Egarosindhur Godhuli Express near the western outer area of the station on Monday night while an unidentified youth died when the Kakoli Express ran over him near Bhairab Railway Station on Tuesday noon.

On information, police went to the spot and recovered the bodies, he said, adding that Ainul's body was handed over to his family members.

Police were trying to identify the identity of the unidentified youth, he added.
