Mahdi Amin, Saleh Shibli named PMO spokespersons
Prime Minister’s Adviser Mahdi Amin and Press Secretary Abu Abdullah M Saleh, also known as Saleh Shibli, have been appointed as spokespersons for the Prime Minister’s Office (PMO).
A notification issued by the PMO on Sunday said the two officials will be responsible for disseminating and providing official information related to the Prime Minister’s Office to the press, media and other platforms, in line with the Rules of Business.
Following the formation of the new government led by Prime Minister Tarique Rahman on February 17, Mahdi Amin was appointed as an adviser to the Prime Minister.
He currently oversees matters related to the ministries of education, primary and mass education, expatriate welfare and overseas employment, and labour and employment.
Abu Abdullah M Saleh was appointed as Press Secretary to the Prime Minister on February 19.
