The Bangladesh Public Service Commission (BPSC) on Tuesday published the results of the 47th Bangladesh Civil Service (BCS) written examination, with 3,631 candidates qualifying for the next stage of the recruitment process.
PSC Public Relations Officer SM Motiur Rahman confirmed the matter on Tuesday afternoon.
The written examinations were held from November 27 to December 18 last year at eight divisional centres across the country, where a total of 10,644 candidates, who had earlier passed the preliminary examination, took part in the tests.
The preliminary examination for the 47th BCS was conducted on September 19, with results announced on September 28, just nine days after the test.
Candidates who have passed the written examination will now appear for the viva voce, the final stage of the BCS recruitment process.
