BNP leader Swapan gets bail, no bar to release

There is no bar for BNP media cell convener Zahir Uddin Swapan to get released as he has secured bail in last three cases.

Dhaka Metropolitan Sessions Judge Court granted bail to him on Wednesday, said his lawyer Syed Joynul Abedin Mesbah.

With this, he got bail in a total of seven cases filed against him with Ramna, and Paltan Police Stations over the alleged attack on the residence of chief justice.

Zahir Uddin Swapan was arrested on November 2 last following the attack on CJ's residence around BNP's October 28 grand rally in the capital Dhaka.
