Juba Dal leader wielding machete in KUET clash expelled

Mahbubur Rahman, a leader of the Juba Dal, was expelled from the organization after being found wielding a machete during a clash between the Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD) and students at Khulna University of Engineering and Technology (KUET).
The expulsion was announced in a press release signed by Nurul Islam Sohel, office secretary of the central Jubo Dal, on Tuesday night (February 18).
The statement noted that Mahbubur Rahman, Vice President of the Doultapur Thana Juba Dal, was expelled for engaging in activities contrary to party discipline. The release clarified that the organization would not take responsibility for any misconduct by expelled members, and all Juba Dal members have been instructed not to maintain any organizational contact with him.
