Nur suffers head injury, nose bone fractured: DMCH director
Gono Odhikar Parishad President Nurul Haque Nur sustained head and nose injuries in Friday’s attack, said Brigadier General Md Asaduzzaman, director of Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH).
“The reason behind excessive bleeding was head injury and fractured nose bone. The bleeding was stopped and he regained consciousness,” he said while talking to reporters on Saturday, August 30.
He underwent a CT scan this morning and it is not possible to say Nur is out of danger before 48 hours, said Asaduzzaman.

Besides, a high-level medical board consisting of six members was formed for his treatment, said the physician.
He is now currently receiving treatment at the Intensive Care Unit (ICU).
A series of clashes erupted between the activists of Jatiya Party and Gono Odhikar Parishad (GOP) in front of Jatiya Party on Friday night, August 29.
As tensions escalated, police and army personnel charged batons, leaving Nur and several others injured.
