Juba Dal leader shot dead in Narsingdi over dominance
A local leader of Juba Dal was shot dead and 10 others were injured in a clash between two groups of villagers in Narsingdi's Sadar on Monday morning, September 29, over establishing supremacy in the locality.
Deceased Sadek Mia was joint convener of Alokbali union unit Juba Dal and son of Rup Mia, a resident of Muradnagar village under the union.
The incident occurred in remote Char area Alokbari.
Being informed, the police personnel went to the scene and brought the situation under control, said Narsingdi Model police station officer-in-charge (OC) Md Emdad Hossain.
