Rumeen Farhana collects nomination for Brahmanbaria-2

BNP assistant international affairs secretary Barrister Rumeen Farhana has collected a nomination form to contest the next national elections from the Brahmanbaria-2 constituency as an independent candidate.

On behalf of Rumeen Farhana, Sarail upazila unit Jubo Dal's former organising secretary, Ali Hossain, collected the nomination form from the office of the assistant returning officer on Wednesday afternoon, December 24.

At that time, several hundred BNP, Jubo Dal, and Chhatra Dal activists from Sarail and Ashuganj upazilas were present.

The Brahmanbaria-2 seat comprises Sarail and Ashuganj upazilas, and Bijoynagar's Budhanti and Chandura unions. 

There are more than six BNP nomination aspirants, including Rumeen Farhana, but the party left the seat for the Jamiat Ulama-e-Islam Bangladesh.
