Jamaat convenes urgent press conference

The Bangladesh Jamaat-e-Islami has convened an emergency press conference for 2:30 pm on Wednesday, February 11.
The press conference will be held at the party's Moghbaza central office in Dhaka, Jamaat's publicity wing said in a press invitation this afternoon.
The party will likely speak about the detention of its Thakurgaon district unit chief, Belal Uddin, along with Tk 50 lakh.
Earlier today, the police detained Belal along with around Tk 50 lakh at Saidpur Airport in Nilphamari.
However, he told the police that the money came from his business.
