NCP’s six MPs sworn in

Six members of the National Citizen Party (NCP) have taken oath as Members of Parliament and as members of the Constitution Reform Council.
They are Nahid Islam, Akhtar Hossain, Hasnat Abdullah, Abdul Hannan Masud, Abdullah Al Amin, and Atik Mujahid.
Chief Election Commissioner AMM Nasir Uddin administered the oath to them separately at the Jatiya Sangsad on Tuesday (February 17).
Earlier, MPs from Jamaat-e-Islami took the oath. However, BNP lawmakers did not take the oath as members of the Constitution Reform Council.
