Bangladesh’s back is against the wall after a disappointing defeat in the first ODI against Afghanistan. The Tigers now face a do-or-die battle in the second ODI at Abu Dhabi, on Saturday, needing a win to keep the three-match series alive.
Afghan skipper Hashmatullah Shahidi won the toss and opted to bat first, putting Mehedi Hasan Miraz’s Bangladesh side in the field.
With the series on the line, Bangladesh will be hoping for early breakthroughs from their pace attack and sharper fielding to bounce back and level the series.
