BPA announces to stop egg, chicken production from May

The Bangladesh Poultry Association, BPA, has announced to stop production of egg and chicken from May demanding to break the syndicate.
The organisation made the announcement in a press release on Thursday, April 17.
BPA president Sumon Hawladar said they will stop egg and chicken production until the government takes measures to break the syndicate.
Due to the silence of government and regulatory agencies, some corporate companies are conspiring to occupy the entire poultry industry. They are controlling not only feed, chicks and medicine, but also the egg and chicken markets. As a result, hundreds of poultry famrs close everyday and the farms incur huge losses, the press release said.
