Pay Commission formed with Zakir Ahmed as chief

The government has formed a new Pay Commission for employees and officials under the National Pay Scale.
The decision was made at a regular meeting of the Advisory Council, led by Chief Adviser Professor Dr. Muhammad Yunus, on Thursday, July 24.
Former Finance Secretary Zakir Ahmed Khan will serve as the head of the commission. The commission will submit its report within six months.
